翁屯村位于上梅乡北部，村名来自翁氏族人在此开基定居。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

翁屯村原属上梅村，因设立良种场而划出。1984年建立村民委员会，隶属下阳乡，1989年归上梅乡。[1][2]

据乡长2017年所述，翁屯村是闽北土改第一村。[3]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
