首阳村位于武夷山市东部。村名由“杨”字的方言读音谐音改成，最早在此开基定居的是杨姓人家。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设首阳大队，隶属乐园公社；1960年改属五夫公社，1972年划归下阳公社。1984年建立村民委员会，隶属下阳乡；1989年起归上梅乡。[2]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2015年10月，本村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。[1]
