厅下村位于上梅乡北部。村名的来历，据博雅地名网所记，是曾有名人在此建造神宅仙厅。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设厅下大队，隶属乐园公社，1961年改属五夫公社，1972年划入下阳公社。1984年建立村民委员会，隶属下阳乡，1989年归上梅乡。[2]

经济[edit]

村中以竹业和笋业为主要产业。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2023年10月，本村入选「2023年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有汪林兴烈士故居和纪念亭，据乡长2017年所述。[3]
