地名由来[edit]

村南有一道较陡的山岭，村名由此而来。[2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

1978年，兴田公社在此建起南源岭良种场；1984年这里设立了村民委员会，1989年起归兴田镇管辖。[3]

进入九十年代末后，村民陆续从武夷山核心保护区迁居到此，村子因而成为生态移民村。[2]
