洲头村位于九曲溪上游的分支边，在星村镇西南部，距镇区13公里。村子因位于洲头溪南岸而得名，村委会驻地也设于此。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年洲头析置大队，归星村公社；1984年改设洲头村民委员会，所在乡为星村乡；1985年划归星村镇。[1]

产业与荣誉[edit]

村民以茶叶、烟叶等农业为主，村中还有四方竹和毛竹林。[2]

2021年11月，洲头村获省级爱卫部门命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
