红星村在星村镇西北方，属九曲溪上游一带，夹在风景区与自然保护区中间，村内公路沿线逾十公里。村子1972年建队时定名红星大队，沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1972年析出设大队，隶星村公社；1984年改设红星村民委员会，属星村乡；1985年归星村镇。[1]

景点与荣誉[edit]

村内的青龙瀑布、龙川瀑布、原始森林公园和玉龙谷等，都是博雅地名网所列的村内旅游景点。[1]

2023年10月，红星村入选「2023年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单；2025年11月，被确定为「福建省2025年度省级“一村一品”专业村」（武夷岩茶）。[1]
