1972年由别处分出黎新大队，隶属星村公社；1984年改设黎新村民委员会，属星村乡；1985年起归星村镇。[1]
文物古迹[edit]
星村朱氏家祠位于黎新村，建于清代，已被公布为县级文物保护单位。[1]
