高苏坂村处在武夷山市区与旅游度假区之间的过渡地带，村民以茶叶、花卉和种养殖为生计。[1]

地名[edit]

村名与清代的两位知县有关。据博雅地名网载，二人曾在此修筑堤坝、开渠引水，村民因此以他们的姓氏命名此处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地早先只是赤石大队的一处自然村，居民仅十来户。[1] 1980年从赤石大队中析出，设为武夷公社良种场；1982年改为行政村，1984年定名高苏坂村民委员会，隶属武夷乡。[1]

1994年改由武夷镇管辖，2003年划归武夷街道。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年11月，村庄列入南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。[1] 2021年11月，获授2021年福建省卫生村称号；同年12月，又获定为2021年度福建省森林村庄。[1]
