新丰街道是福建省南平市武夷山市的一个街道，位于市城关东南，在崇阳溪东岸。[2][4]

名称由来[edit]

街道之名源自唐代设立的新丰乡。据武夷山市人民政府网所载，唐代左牛卫上将军彭迁定居于此，招集乡民开垦荒地，聚成较大的居住点，于是取名新丰乡，这里被认为是武夷山市最早的雏形。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，此地隶属情献镇。中华人民共和国成立后，其辖区由洋墩乡、胡桃乡的全部以及城关镇的一部分组成。[2]

城关公社的郊区于1981年另立为溪东公社。1983年，该公社更名为城东公社；次年，改设城东乡。[1][3]

2003年，城东乡撤销，设立新丰街道。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

崇安江西会馆位于南门街32号，建于清代，被公布为县级文物保护单位。[1]
