村旁并列着九座山峰，故以此为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

在民国时期，此村归二十都所辖。[1] 1958年它属红东人民公社；1961年起划归张厝人民公社。[1] 1981年村中设九峰生产大队，到1984年才由村委会取代。[1]
