历史沿革[edit]
1950年至1960年间，此地为炉林乡下的蕙林；1961年改称惠林大队，1984年以后设为村。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村内以山地为主，地势东北高、西南低。最高处为赤米龙山峰，海拔978米；最低处在交溪组，海拔514米。[2]
境内有两条小溪。成下溪发源于层溪水库，全长5.2公里；惠林溪源于交溪与下炉洋，全长3.6公里。[2]
村中探明的地下矿藏为铅矿。[2]
人口民族[edit]
2011年末，全村辖惠一、惠二、交溪、成下、百岭5个村民小组，总人口中男性372人，女性358人。[2]
经济[edit]
耕地约2000亩，全部为水浇地，粮食作物以水稻为主，经济作物主要为烟叶。村中竹林面积约5000亩。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
惠林屋桥建于清代，博雅地名网记为县级文物保护单位。[3]
