庄坛村是吴家塘镇东部的行政村，北面临铁罗村，南面接拿口镇，东面与建阳市相邻。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

早年这里的土筑高台上建有储谷的茅舍，名为庄坛，后来在此立村，村名由此而来。[2]

1951年此地归圩南乡管辖，属第三区。1958年才设友好大队，归水北公社；此后数度改属胡书、吴家塘公社。1980年起称庄坛大队，1984年再改设村民委员会。[1][2]

庄坛村在2021年11月由省爱卫办定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

全村地势东高西低，南北两侧靠山，村庄中部地势平坦。全村辖9个自然村、9个村民小组。[2][3]
