铁罗村属吴家塘镇，坐落于邵武市东境，东侧与建阳市书坊镇相接，距市区26公里。[1][2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

村落的房屋呈圆形布局，屋顶盖青瓦而显铁色，因此得名，后写作铁罗。[2]

1951年此地设铁罗乡，隶属第二区；1958年又组建铁罗大队，归水北公社管辖。1984年改为村民委员会。[1][2]

民国时期此地设示范乡公所，解放初为第九区公所及铁罗乡公所的驻地，旧时曾是这一带的政治、经济与文化中心。村中旧有五日一圩的墟市。[2][3]

1996年，铁罗村通过邵武市小康村验收，被授予「小康达标村」，并获福建省人民政府授予「优秀村庄」。1997年度，南平市授予「小康榜样村」。2006年度，邵武市社会治安综合治理委员会授予「平安村」。[3]

2020年11月，铁罗村上榜南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。省爱卫办在2021年11月把铁罗村定为福建省卫生村，称号名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[2][4]
