历史沿革[edit]
村前旧有一座凉亭，亭后是一道山岭，原名亭岭，后演变为行岭。[2]
1961年，此地由原水北公社高潮大队划归吴家塘农场，设牧场管区。这一管区的名称在1987年改为行岭管区，2000年7月起设为村民委员会。[1][2]
行岭村获省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号，时间为2021年11月。同年12月，行岭村被认定为2021年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄。行岭村获认定为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇，主管机关为省农业农村厅，时间是2022年10月。[2]
地理环境[edit]
七牧溪、弓墩桥溪与黑目坑溪在村中汇合，村里建有一座装机容量560千瓦的梯级电站。[2]
经济[edit]
农业以水稻为主，另有茶叶、烟叶和柑桔等经济作物，村中设有精池养鳗76亩、土池养鳗90亩。[2]
文化[edit]
旧时七牧地区曾出过一名秀才。[2]
