茶源村位于和平镇西南部，地处和平古镇西南，村名与吴氏先人定居茶源塘有关。2011年为邵武市文明村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据吴氏宗谱，吴氏先祖以井、源、塘为名定居，寓意源远流长，村也称茶源坊。明代吴瑾公由藕塘迁居茶源塘，以茶名茶，村名由此而来。[1][2]

明清两代此地属昼锦上乡三十七都。1938年（民国二十七年）建保，归金泉联保；民国三十二年改属禾凤乡。新中国成立后，1953年设茶源乡，1958年成立茶源大队，1984年大队改设村委会。[1][3]

文化[edit]

2011年，茶源村为邵武市文明村。[1]
