历史沿革[edit]
旧时此地设有土法冶铁的场所，场地宽阔，因此称作铁洋。村子旧属邵武县，以邹、邱、黄等姓为主。[1][2]
邹氏始祖在明代自江西省进贤县迁入福建，定居于此。1984年成立村民委员会。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
2011年末辖区总人口328人，另有流动人口173人。村内辖铁洋组、炉下组和培上自然村（含大厝、新厝、旧厝三组），共3个自然村，分为5个村民小组。[2]
