大埠岗村在邵武市南部，是大埠岗镇人民政府的驻地所在，村部距市区约32公里。村子西与和平村相邻，东北连着李源村，东边与竹源村接壤，南面与河源村相通。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原作「大埠市」，元代人口增多、商业兴盛，后改称「大埠岗」。在此之前，南宋末年岗上黄竹成林，此地一度叫「黄竹鼻」。明清两代属永城下乡，称三十二都。[1][2]

村里的荣誉包括：2015年10月入选福建省第一批省级传统村落；2023年12月被认定为2023年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（优质稻）；2024年2月列入第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇的创建对象；2025年11月又获认定为省级乡村振兴示范村（第二批）。[2]

2011年末辖区总人口3497人，另有流动人口1280人。村内辖大埠岗、曹源圳、北山下、洋家源、童家坊五个自然村，分为21个村民小组。[2]
