河源村在邵武市南部，属大埠岗镇，村部距市区约34公里。村子北面紧邻大埠岗村，西侧与和平村为邻，东北方向接竹源村，东南方向靠加洲村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村部所在的河源铺自然村位于金溪的源头，旧称「三十六铺」，村名由此而来。[1][2]

1984年改为村民委员会，地名沿用至今。2022年10月，河源村被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[2]

人口民族[edit]

2011年末辖区总人口2794人，另有流动人口1673人。村内辖11个自然村，依次为瓦厂、际下、上坊、下坊、河源铺、格岭、三坑、丁家坊、洋源、上龚家与下龚家，分为16个村民小组。[2]
