宝积村在邵武市南部，属大埠岗镇，村部离市区约26公里。村子北与城郊镇的山口村交界，西与李源村相邻，东北连着芜窟村，南面与竹源村相通，东南与铁洋村相接。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名最早叫「埂头」，宋代改称「新兴古里」。村里的古井、晴雨石与大铜钟并称三宝，村名因此定为「宝积」。[1][2]

唐宋时期村中已有高、何等姓氏聚居。旧志记载，唐代在此建有宝林寺，北宋熙宁三年（1070年）榜眼上官均为之作《宝林寺》记。清顺治五年（1648年），王氏家族从光泽迁入定居，此后也成为当地望族。[1][2]

1984年设立村民委员会，地名沿用至今。[2]

人口民族[edit]

2011年末辖区总人口1528人，另有流动人口810人。村内辖宝积、南坑、石吉岭、大陂、村尾五个自然村，分为12个村民小组。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

宝积王氏「郎官第」时代为清代，列为县级文物保护单位。[3]
