桥头村是福建省南平市邵武市洪墩镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域东南，东邻尚读村，南与顺昌县接壤。村名因村子建在大桥头一带而得。1933年红军曾在此设立兵站，1985年村子被列为全省首批革命老区基点村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属仁荣乡。元代起归仁荣下乡管辖，明清时期编入该乡的十三都。民国年间此地为水口寨区的桥鸣乡，随后改为桥头镇。[1]

1933年，红军路过此地，在这里设立兵站，并成立苏维埃政府，部队在此驻扎八个多月。当时本地有十余名青年投身红军，同年还有二十多人参加赤卫队，协助红军医治伤病员、筹措款项。红军撤离后，本地游击队仍在这一带活动。1949年5月解放。[1]

解放后先归第七区；1958年并入红东人民公社，1980年划归卫闽公社。1984年卫洪分乡后，本村改属洪墩乡；1992年撤乡建镇，村名随之成为洪墩镇桥头村，延续至今。1985年，福建省人民政府批准本村为全省首批革命老区基点村。[1]

文化[edit]

村中古建筑天后宫始建于民国三十二年（1943年）十一月，占地360平方米。每年农历三月二十三，村民把妈祖神像抬到各自然村巡游，供信众朝拜，这一天定为“妈祖节”，此节现已被定为邵武市非遗项目。天后宫目前属市级保护文物。[1]

天后宫旁建有法藏寺，由私人集资捐建，寺内保存着原苏维埃政府的建筑结构。[1]

经济[edit]

村里农产品以闽笋、蔬菜和黄瓜为主，形成了较成熟的蔬菜种植队伍，早熟的辣椒、茄子、黄瓜销往周边县市。[1]
