地理环境[edit]
地名的来历是：村前一片称作牛尾的地方被视作界线，那里又多生小竹，故取此名。[1]村界向东接壤扁竹村，向南挨着张厝乡，向西伸到大竹镇，向北以富屯溪为限。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时这里称作二十二都。[1]民国时期设立叶竹保，隶属拿口镇。[1]到1950年，村子划归第三区；此后1956年组建界竹高级社，1958年，村子转为界竹大队并划入拿口公社。[1]
1987年，省政府将村评为「省文明村」；1990年，南平地区评定其为「闽北村星」。[1]2022年10月，村入选「2022年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单；2024年6月，村上榜「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]2022年12月，村被福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
严羽故居旧址位于本村，年代从南宋延续到清代，为县级文物保护单位。[1][3]严羽是南宋诗论家，籍贯邵武，著有《沧浪诗话》。[4]
