沿山镇位于福建省南平市邵武市的西北部，离邵武市政府约17公里[2]，行政区域面积258.13平方千米[1]，属邵武市管辖的乡镇级行政单位[4]。1992年11月由沿山乡改设为镇，辖区与政府驻地均未变动[1][2]。

镇境多山，境内保存有古山谌氏宗祠、狮子崖正觉寺、邹氏淳村公祠等清代至明清时期的祠堂和寺庙，以及宋代的桥梁[3][5][9]。

历史沿革[edit]

沿山一名原作「严山街」，民国年间以同音的「沿」字代替「严」字，沿用至今[2]。明清时期此地属永城上乡，俗称四十都[2]。

新中国成立后这里先称古山乡，此后于1958年建为公社，1984年复改为乡；1992年11月撤销沿山乡建制，另设沿山镇[1][2]。

近年荣誉有：环境保护部在2014年6月授予沿山镇「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号[2]；2021年2月，沿山镇进入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单[2]；2022年10月，经福建省农业农村厅认定，沿山镇成为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[2]；2024年6月，沿山镇名列「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡镇」之中[2]。

地理环境[edit]

镇内的山峰以锅低山、大湖山和广福山较为突出，锅低山海拔1347米，为沿山镇境内第二高山，位于红路村一带[9]；大湖山在危家窠村北部，海拔1272.7米[10]；广福山位于上樵村西南部，海拔1198米[11]。

名胜古迹[edit]

古山村的古山谌氏宗祠为清代宗祠建筑，建于道光丁亥年（1827年），1949年后曾改作村集体仓库，百度百科称其2011年列为市级文物保护单位[3][5]。同村另有宁氏祠堂与何氏家庙，二者均建于明清时期[6]。

周源村的狮子崖正觉寺建于清代，属县级文物保护单位[7]。三元村的邹氏淳村公祠与文昌宫建于明清时期，均为文物保护单位[8]。

红路村的鼓家桥与小排拱桥建于宋代，同样列为县级文物保护单位[9]。
