地理环境[edit]
村境地势平坦，气候温和。316国道与鹰厦铁路纵贯村境，村内设有卫闽火车站货场[1][2]。全村总面积为15675亩[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
村民委员会成立于1984年，村名自此延用至今[2]。
2019年12月，卫闽村列入国家林业和草原局发布的「第二批国家森林乡村」名单[2]。2020年12月，卫闽村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」[2]。卫闽村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办命名，称「2021年福建省卫生村」[2]。2021年12月，卫闽村被认定为「2021年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」[2]。2022年12月，卫闽村经福建省农业农村厅确定为「2022年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」（猕猴桃）[2]。
名胜古迹[edit]
村内建有植物迷宫景区，百度百科称其为「国家3A级旅游景区」，另建有水美护岸健身步道[1]。
