外石村是福建省南平市邵武市卫闽镇的行政村，位于邵武市东部富屯溪畔，村部距镇区约5公里[3]。村名古称介石，因村边溪畔的阔叶林周围奇石分布，故改称外石[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

北宋初年已建村，最早称介石[1]。这里宋代属富阳乡，元代属阳下乡，明清属十五都，民国时隶属洪墩乡[2]。1949年设立卫石乡，1958年外石改为大队，并入洪墩公社，1984年10月改属卫闽乡，并改称外石村[2]。

2022年10月，外石村经福建省农业农村厅认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[2]。2023年12月，外石村被命名为「2023年度福建省森林村庄」[2]。2024年11月，外石村被认定为「2024年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」（猕猴桃）[2]。2025年3月，外石村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」[2]。

地理环境[edit]

村域面积8.7平方千米[1][3]。村境以山区为主，地势东北高、西南低；山地最高处为金山，高620.8米，境内最低处在外石一带，为142.8米[3]。富屯溪由境内穿过，境内河段约5公里[3]。境内另有卫闽林场，以及丰益公司的一座电站[3]。

1998年6月22日，富屯溪水位超过历史最高，村内民房倒塌，道路与桥梁受损，庄稼绝收[3]。

人口民族[edit]

2011年末，村辖区总人口1341人，共417户，另有流动人口22人[3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有一片占地118亩的古树林，称尚则林，树龄在300至600年之间[1]。溪畔的阔叶林中生长樟木、枫树、桂花树等树种[2]。
