屯上村位于邵武市东部郊区，在鸡鸣峰脚下、鱼仔溪畔，现属沙溪街道。[1][2]

村址曾是下沙镇政府所在地，迄今有五百多年历史，属革命老区村，是原下沙镇的第三大行政村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取义于地势较高，村庄建在其他自然村的上方。[1]

1984年，屯上村民委员会正式命名，同年设屯上乡，乡政府驻此；1994年撤乡设下沙镇，镇政府迁往下沙村。[1][3]

地理与人文[edit]

村域面积3.3平方千米，下设9个自然村与10个村民小组。[1][4]

村中保存有明代的鸡鸣峰寺。[4]

205省道贯穿村域。[1]

荣誉[edit]

屯上村在2019年度福建省「一村一品」示范村的评定中以肉兔产业入列，名单公布于2020年12月。[1]

2022年12月，村获评「2022年福建省卫生村」；2023年2月，上榜「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
