大漠村隶属水北镇，在邵武市北部，离城区约5公里，是该镇的一个行政村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

解放初期，以大池为起点、漠口为终点设立大漠乡；公社化时期改为大漠大队，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

元代这里归仁泽下乡，属十三都。解放后设立大漠乡，1950年至1957年乡驻地设于此地，辖13个村。[1]

1958年11月起设大漠大队，隶属红北人民公社，至1984年8月。1984年9月起划归水北乡，名称改为大漠村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

金山寺为市级文物保护单位，原名崇德寺。寺址地形与「金」字相似，故改称金山寺。[2]

文革期间寺庙曾被改作学校和畜牧场，20世纪80年代初村民自发重建。[2]
