王亭村隶属水北镇，是该镇下辖的行政村，村名来自村边的一座凉亭。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村边原有一座凉亭，亭顶缠满青藤，后来青藤被砍去而变黄，村名因此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年成立王亭大队，当时属城关公社；城关公社撤销后，村子随之隶属朝阳镇。[1][2]

1984年，邵武改为县级市，王亭大队此后归水北乡管理；1992年起王亭村隶属水北镇。[2]

产业[edit]

村里的主要农产品有四季豆、黄椒、紫色包心菜、水稻和草莓，草莓种植是主要产业之一。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，王亭村被认定为2021年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄。[1]

福建省绿化委员会于2022年12月授予王亭村「2022年福建省森林村庄」称号。[1]
