水北镇是福建省南平市邵武市下辖的镇，位于市境北部，南面隔富屯溪与城区相望。[5][2]

1992年7月，水北乡改设为水北镇，镇名沿用至今。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

该镇因坐落在富屯溪北岸、处于城区以北而得名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属仁泽乡，元代分为仁泽上乡与仁泽下乡，明清时称仁泽下乡五十三都。[3]

民国时期这里设过龙斗区，故县则设有一区。解放初期，故县的第二区公所管辖十七个乡；1955年改设故县区，所辖为13个乡。[3]

1958年9月，驻地迁到水北；同年11月设红北公社，所辖为19个大队。1960年，公社名改为水北公社。[3]

1984年9月，水北公社建制取消，改设水北乡；原属昭阳镇的王亭大队也划入本乡辖区。1992年7月，水北乡改为水北镇。[3][1]

地理环境[edit]

据邵武市人民政府网站的行政区划资料，全镇面积507.53平方千米。[1]

鹰厦铁路穿过镇境，316国道与水杉公路也从这里经过。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

云灵山旅游景区位于龙斗村境内，距邵武市区约15公里，以峡谷漂流为核心项目。景区2009年10月开始建设，2012年5月对外开放，是国家4A级旅游景区。[4][6]

福善王庙在大乾村，始建于隋末唐初。北宋政和六年（1116年）获封「广祐王」，明清时定名福善王庙，为县级文物保护单位。[4][7]

乌阪城遗址位于故县村，年代为汉代；石岐灵塔（灵杰塔）和黄中墓也在故县村，年代分别为明代和宋代，均为县级文物保护单位。[4]

另有四都窑址（四都村，宋代）、张氏夫人暨李赓墓（一都村，宋、明）和省委交通站（杨梅岭村），均为县级文物保护单位。大漠村的金山寺是市级文物保护单位。[4][8]

荣誉[edit]

2014年6月，环境保护部授予水北镇「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[2]

中央文明委作出决定，于2015年2月授予水北镇「第四届全国文明村镇」称号。[2]

2023年10月，水北镇入选「2023年福建省级森林康养小镇」，同月又列入福建省2023年「全域生态旅游小镇」名单。[2]
