莆明村是福建省南平市邵武市城郊镇下辖的行政村，地处邵武市城乡之间，离市区5公里，村民源自莆田迁来的移民。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年，为响应开发山区的号召，一批莆田移民迁至邵武县城关公社，并在此建立莆明村。据博雅地名网，该村是邵武市唯一仍保留单独建制的莆田移民村。[1]

2024年1月，莆明村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2023年10月，村庄入选南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄名单。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村境大部分为低山丘陵，地势较平坦，海拔200米左右，古山溪流经村境。[2]

气候属亚热带季风性，年均气温约18.5℃，无霜期约287天，年降水量2000毫米左右。[2]

文化[edit]

村内有报恩寺，是一座百年古刹。[2]
