高南村隶属福建省南平市邵武市城郊镇，在镇域西南一带，离市区约12公里，境内有南源寺。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取自原有两个村庄的各一字，由当时的村支书宁求明拟定。1965年起归城郊镇管辖，1984年起设村民委员会。[2]

2024年1月，高南村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村境地处武夷山脉，山峦起伏，森林资源丰富。富屯溪支流古山溪贯穿村境，流经水仙、坊上、南竹一组和南竹二组。[1]

2011年末，村内耕地1534亩，林地17348亩。[1]

经济[edit]

村民主要种植水稻、蔬菜和烟叶，林地盛产毛竹和木材。村内有鳗场一处。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

南源寺早先名为中山寺，北宋太平兴国二年（977年）即已有寺，明代末年迁至现址后改称南源寺。1982年，该寺被列为邵武市第一批文物保护单位。[1][3]

寺后山有阔叶林，并有仙子潭瀑布。[1]
