太保路社区位于鹰厦铁路北侧，名称来自居委会驻地所在的太保路中段[1][3][4]。

历史沿革[edit]

1983年以前，此地属水北大队。1983年10月邵武县改为市后，大队的一部分地段划出，建起太保路居委会，并由街道办事处管辖[2][4]。2002年5月，这个居委会改名为太保路社区居委会[1][2]。
