水北社区是邵武市水北街道下辖的社区，因原为水北生产队、地处富屯溪北岸而得名[1][3]。博雅地名网称，它是街道内唯一具农村性质的居委会[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

其前身为1958年成立的水北大队。县改市后，此地改称水北居委会；2002年5月，此处的居委会改称水北社区居委会[1][2]。

地理环境[edit]

居民住在十里长街两侧，自贮木场一带向西直到药村和窑北[1]。
