五四社区位于通泰街道，处于邵武市中心地段，名称取自所在地的五四路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1983年邵武改市后，此地设立五四路居委会，归通泰街道办事处统辖，2002年才改为社区居委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内的李纲祠堂原称「丞相太师忠定李公祠」，南宋淳熙十三年（1186年）始建，后几经迁建，康熙二十二年（1683年）迁至现在的位置。乾隆三十年（1765年）、道光十五年（1835年）及1929年、1938年均有修葺。[1][2]

1984年，祠堂复修并辟为李纲纪念馆，纪念南宋抗金名臣李纲。[2]

1991年，李纲祠堂被列为省级文物保护单位。[3]
