居委会驻地位于新建路，社区便以这条路的名字为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时此地叫伍泰保。1953年归清伍街所辖，1966年该街更名，随后划入红旗街。1981年清伍街的名称恢复，此地仍归红旗街。1983年，清伍红旗街分出一部分地域，成立新建居委会，此名沿用至今。[1]
