前山村是福建省南平市政和县澄源乡下辖的行政村，村委会设于前山自然村。村内共6个自然村，分别是前山、溪边、楼下、月山下和蟹尾。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子建在群山环绕的山前开阔地带，故名前山。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村址最早由钱姓开基，称钱村，后因“钱”与“前”音近，改名前山；唐代又有许姓迁入。[1][3]

20世纪70年代初，前山从澄源大队分出另设大队，此后发展加快。“文化大革命”期间一度称前进村。1984年村庄改为行政村，村民委员会同时成立，2008年村部迁至原小学旧址。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单在2020年12月收入前山村。[1]

2021年12月，前山村入围南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄名单。[1]
