澄源乡是福建省南平市政和县下辖的乡，地处闽浙两省四县结合部，东与宁德市寿宁县交界，北与浙江省庆元县接壤。乡政府驻澄源村，全乡辖22个行政村。[1][2][3]

乡名源自乡政府所在的澄源村。境内有唐代建造的清平寺、定风寺、凤栖寺等古寺，乡内另有革命老区村17个。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

五代时，这一带属关隶镇。北宋咸平三年（1000年）此地归关隶乡管辖，之后乡名改为政和乡，澄源即在其中。[1]

明景泰六年（1455年）澄源属善政乡，清代沿用明制。1915年善政乡改制为第三区，1936年又变为第二区，澄源均属其间。1940年1月，澄源正式设乡，隶属第二区。[1]

1949年后设立区、村政权，1951年澄源设为第五区，1955年改称第四区。1958年6月调整乡镇时，原澄源乡与黄岭乡合并为澄源乡。同年9月，澄源所在地组建人民公社，名号改为红星人民公社，次年又改名澄源公社。[1][5]

1961年恢复区建制，1969年撤区并社，1970年将黄坑、下坪两个大队划归外屯公社。1984年9月撤销公社，设立澄源乡。[1][5]

地理环境[edit]

乡境位于鹫峰山脉东侧，地势北高南低，地貌分为中山丘陵和低山盆地两类，千米以上的高山有30余座。全乡平均海拔890米，年均气温14.7摄氏度。[1]

全乡林地面积36.1万亩，森林覆盖率86%。[1]

据百度百科，截至2019年末，乡内户籍人口为29626人。[3]

全国农业产业强镇建设名单在2019年7月24日收录了澄源乡。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

政和县人民政府网站列出的乡内古迹有清平寺、定风寺、凤栖寺（三寺建于唐代）、梧桐书院旧址、许氏宗祠、柳杉王、千年红豆杉王、上榅洋古民居和寿政庆中心县委革命遗址。[1]

定风寺所在处在北斗村东侧约两千米，寺院始建于唐咸通五年（864年），如今的建筑主要是清至民国时期留下的，它于2018年9月被确定为「福建省第九批省级文物保护单位」。[6]

人文[edit]

乡政府网站称，乡内保存有唐代大书法家颜真卿的玉带，以及北宋所建的更楼。栗裕、叶飞等革命领导人都曾在澄源留下战斗足迹。[1]
