西岩村属福建省南平市政和县杨源乡，位于乡域东南端，村子建在大岩石构成的山地上，分里西岩、外西岩两个自然村。该村在2019年6月入选第五批中国传统村落。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

外西岩村为张姓开基，全村均为张姓，讲周宁方言。里西岩全村为陈姓，同样讲周宁方言。[1][2]

此村在1958年为大队，划入前进公社；1969年归杨源公社，1984年才设村民委员会。1985年公路通车后，村中经济与文化有所发展。[1]

文化[edit]

洞宫岩画位于西岩村，年代属青铜时代，为县级文物保护单位。[3]

村中有张氏宗祠，村旁风水林有榅树十余株。[1]

福建省第一批省级传统村落名单公布于2015年10月，西岩村在其中。[1]
