王大厝村属福建省南平市政和县杨源乡，村内有王大厝、西坑等四个自然村，村中下坂桥为县级文物保护单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据载，宋代黄姓在此立村，初称黄大厝，后因音讹而写作王大厝。[1]

王大厝一度于1954年设乡，隶第七区。1958年6月，王大厝乡与杨源、上庄两乡合并为杨源乡；1969年转为大队，归杨源公社；1984年成为行政村，并设村民委员会。[1][3]

文化[edit]

下坂桥位于下坂自然村的当溪上，是一座八字撑木拱廊桥。建于1827年（道光七年），1885年（光绪十一年）重建，现存建筑为1987年重修。[2]

人口与荣誉[edit]

据百度百科，截至2015年4月，村内户籍人口为1370人。[4]

2023年10月，王大厝村入选2023年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。[1]
