黄坑村位于外屯乡东北部，是乡下辖的一个行政村，距县城约40千米，距乡政府约20千米。村域处于山丘之间，平均海拔500米，属七星河的源头地带。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村子原称黄岭坑。解放后到1968年，它归澄源区的黄岭公社管辖；1969年外屯设立公社后，改划入外屯。旧时这里属政和县南部的八都。[2]

1948年村里设立党组织，是全县排第二个设立党组织的村庄，属老区村；2003年被列为省老区重点贫困村。[2]

村部先设在外店，1986年迁至外板，2000年后又迁回外店。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域总面积约3.4万亩，地形以山石为主。村址距外屯乡政府20千米，向东到澄源约10千米，向北到岭腰约10千米。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村里的主要经济作物是竹、茶和锥栗，多数村民外出经商务工。[2]
