宝岩村处在镇前镇西北面，是省定老区基点村之一，村内有6个自然村。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
村委会驻地设在宝岩村，因而以此为村名。[1]
宝岩原为镇前乡的一个保（民国29年设立），1951年曾设宝岩乡并归第二区。1958年成为宝岩大队，1969年改隶镇前公社，1984年设为行政村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
宝岩村于2015年10月列入「福建省第一批省级传统村落」名录。[1]
