镇前镇设在福建省南平市政和县的东北部，东接宁德市周宁县，西与外屯乡为邻，南连杨源乡，北靠澄源乡，是县辖的一个镇。[1] 镇政府驻镇前村，全镇辖22个行政村。[1][3] 镇名取自镇政府驻地镇前村，这里在五代时曾是关隶镇的治所。[1][4] 境内以丘陵和山地为主，茶叶、锥栗和毛竹是当地的主要出产。在高山区中，镇前是重要的政治、经济与文化中心。[6]

历史沿革[edit]

唐代，镇前一带归感德场所辖。后唐长兴四年（933年），感德场改设为宁德县，镇前随之隶属。后晋天福六年（941年）设立关隶镇，镇衙设在卜前村，卜前村此后改称镇前。[3][4] 北宋咸平三年（1000年），关隶镇改置为关隶县，镇前一带称关隶乡，其后又随县名改为政和乡。明代改称善政乡，景泰六年（1455年）改定此名，清代沿用。[4]

民国初，善政乡归第三区管辖；1936年起划为第二区，1940年改设乡镇，善政乡更名为镇前乡。1958年镇前乡与郢地乡合并，同年成立人民公社，1959年称镇前公社；1984年撤社复乡，1993年9月撤乡设镇。[1][4]

1949年5月镇前解放，归政和县第二区管理；1958年成立镇前人民公社，1959年改属福安专区，1970年划归建阳地区。[6]

据博雅地名网所载，2022年10月，镇前镇被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇前镇位于鹫峰山脉北端的东南坡上，地势略向东南倾斜，以丘陵为主。境内最高点为梨洋村后门山上的里洋仙顶，海拔1300米；最低点在茶溪村的白石溪，海拔500米。[1] 全镇面积，快懂百科作234.4平方千米，百度百科作242.43平方千米。[6][7] 平均海拔约936米，年均气温13.9℃，夏季凉爽，昼夜温差大，属亚热带季风湿润气候。[6][7]

境内的鲤鱼溪发源于鹫峰山脉北端，属蛟龙溪上游梨溪的支流，主河道长7.1千米，流域面积16.8平方千米。[9]

人口与产业[edit]

2025年末，镇前镇公安户籍人口27815人。[2]

2017年，全镇农民人均纯收入为9795元。[6]

农业以茶叶、锥栗、毛竹和反季节蔬菜为主，烟叶种植也有发展。快懂百科所载的布局是：宝岩、茶溪一带以锥栗为主，南坑、里洋、下园一带以毛竹为主，下园、角坂、梨溪、梨洋一带发展反季节蔬菜，罗金坂的无公害茶基地为龙头。[6]

革命历史[edit]

革命战争时期，镇前是闽北重点老区镇，宝岩一带建立了革命根据地，闽浙边特委和中共政和县委曾设在此地，全镇22个行政村中有15个为老区村。[6] 天柱、宝岩、横坑头等地有过战斗。[6] 天柱一带的中共闽浙边地委纪念碑，年代为1947年，遗址如今仅存墙基，被列为福建省第一批革命文物。[8][5] 境内还有南坑的红军岩、丁坑红军联系点与半林岗游击队集结地等红色遗址。[6]

文化与民俗[edit]

镇前的文化特色包括姓氏、鲤鱼、茶、饮食和节庆等方面，境内曾举办首届鲤鱼民俗文化节，民间艺术活动也较活跃，镇前同心乡愁文化馆设在镇上。[1][6]

交通与公共服务[edit]

省道302线与202线穿过镇前，小浦公路经过镇区，镇区距宁武高速杨源出口约18公里。[3][6]

镇前中心小学、镇前中学和镇前中心卫生院是当地教育与医疗的主要机构，乡镇企业以制茶、木材加工为主。[6]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇前鲤鱼溪水利风景区以鲤鱼溪为依托，景区海拔平均约1000米，林木覆盖率为86%，特色景点有犀龙桥、长青桥、福源桥和鲤鱼文化公园。[9]

县级文物保护单位中，政和资福寺建于明代，位于下庄村；郢地茶盐古道为宋代遗存，在郢地村；里洋派相冢为宋代遗存，在里洋村；连坑八字撑石拱桥与连坑水尾八字撑石拱桥都建于清代，均在连坑村。[10][11][14][12][13]
