西表村是东平镇辖的行政村，位于镇境最西端，村落坐落在山间小盆地上。[1]

地名来历[edit]

村落建在山间小盆地里，又居东平镇最西面，村名由此而来。[1]

革命旧址[edit]

建松政苏维埃政府旧址在村内，原为西表村魏氏祠堂，占地约260平方米。省政府于2013年1月将其列为第八批省级文物保护单位。[2][3]

1934年8月中旬，红军部队进入建瓯、松溪、政和一带。同年9月初，村中魏氏祠堂召开边区群众大会，会上宣告建松政革命委员会设立。[3]

文物[edit]

村内还有红军桥、西表太平桥两座清代桥梁，以及1966年建的红星医院，三者都属县级文物。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国29年，此地设西表保。1954年成立西表乡，划入第三区；1958年改设西表大队，归苏区公社；1984年才改为西表行政村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省第一批省级传统村落名单中有西表村，时间为2015年10月。[1]
