碗厂村位于政和县城的西部，属东平镇，下辖3个自然村。[1]

地名来历[edit]

境内遗有清代窑址24处，以碗厂一处最多，村名因此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国29年此地设安岩保。1954年设碗厂乡，归第三区；1965年成立碗厂大队，1969年改属东平公社；1984年方转为碗厂行政村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

碗厂村在2020年12月被列为「2020年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」，类别为水产养殖；2021年4月，又获评「2020年度福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」。[1]

经福建省农业农村厅认定，碗厂村于2022年10月进入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」之列。2023年10月，它又列入「2023年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单。[1]
