地名来历[edit]
村子原称界口，因地处石屯与东平两地的交界，解放后改称新口。[1][2]
自然村[edit]
全村辖新口、黄当、南山三个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国29年此地设新口保，民国33年隶属东平镇。1951年改设新口乡，1958年为新口大队，归苏区公社；1969年起归东平公社，1984年才改为行政村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
新口村先后出现在阿里研究院2020年9月公布的2020年「淘宝村」名单、2021年10月由南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布的2021年淘宝村名单，以及2022年10月公布的2022年淘宝村名单中。[1]
新口村上榜的「2019年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」（农村电商类）公布于2020年12月。[1]
