范屯村位于政和县西部，属东平镇，距镇政府所在地10公里，距县城关24公里。[1]

地名来历[edit]

村内多为范姓人家，居民多住在鱼塘边，民国时期一度叫范塘村。“塘”与“屯”方言读音相同，于是改称范屯。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国29年设范屯保。1954年又设范屯乡，划归第四区；1958年成立范屯大队，归苏区公社；1984年才改为范屯行政村。[1]
