溪畔村位于祖墩乡南部，是乡的南大门，东与花桥乡交界，距松溪县城18公里，靠近302省道，村域地处白马山省级自然保护区内。村名最早来自溪畔宅：三条小溪交汇，两岸原先有四个小村落，合称溪畔宅，后来简称溪畔。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年4月，祖墩乡分设时，此处曾设立溪畔乡。[3][2]

据百度百科，2020年全村有1305人。[2]

村里的特色农业有毛芋和竹笋，2021年毛芋种植面积达600余亩。[2]

文化[edit]

荣誉方面：2021年11月，省级爱卫部门将其认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年11月，名列「2022年福建省金牌旅游村」名单；2022年12月，省绿化委员会将其定为「2022年福建省森林村庄」；2023年12月，被认定为「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」，产品为早熟芋；2021年12月，本村被列为福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）。[1]
