溪后村在松溪县北部，与浦城县水北街镇为邻，离县城27公里，离乡政府5公里，下辖七个自然村。村子坐落在溪流的后方，所以叫溪后。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子在1941年设溪后保时建立，当时属祖墩乡。曾一度隶属第二区署，驻花桥。解放后仍归祖墩乡，1958年划入东风公社祖墩大队，1962年改为祖墩公社溪后大队，1984年恢复乡制时大队改为村。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省第一批省级传统村落名单中有溪后村，列入时间为2015年10月。[1]
