九蓬村位于花桥乡西北部，距松溪县城十九公里，离乡政府所在地五公里，是革命老区村。村内溪流两岸山岩嶙峋，有“小武夷”之称。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据松溪县人民政府网站，古时花桥至路桥的古道经过村前，木桥旁的村民用茅草、树枝搭起九间简陋的房屋，希望长久居住，村因此称为九蓬。[2]
地理与景观[edit]
溪流蜿蜒而下，两岸奇峰秀木相映，山色与水色相衬，景象近似碧水丹山，故有“小武夷”之称。电视剧《湛庐神剑》曾在此取景。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代时，村落已属崇仁乡庆原里十七都。1935年置九蓬保；1949年改称村，归花桥乡。此后又经几次变动：1952年为花桥区的九蓬乡，1958年并入东风公社，1960年成为花桥公社的九蓬大队。1984年起大队改为村。[1]
