源尾村位于花桥乡北部，距松溪县城十九公里，是革命老区重点村。村域之内，商代的源尾山林下遗址与清代的源尾谷司桥都是县级文物保护单位。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子位于两条小溪汇合处的末端，因此得名源尾。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落起于宋代，属善政乡杉溪里十六都。1935年设源尾保，1950年称源尾乡，1958年10月改为东风公社下的源尾大队，1966年归花桥公社。1984年起大队改为村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，源尾村列入第一批国家森林乡村；2020年2月，入选福建省第三批省级传统村落；2020年12月，源尾村被定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」；2021年2月，村庄进入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2025年3月，获评「第七届全国文明村镇」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

源尾谷司桥在村东北约2公里、通往花桥的水泥路南侧约100米处，横跨溪尾溪，桥身为清代单孔石拱，长22米、宽4.2米。[1]

源尾山林下遗址在村内，年代为商代，已列为县级文物保护单位。[1]
