花桥村是花桥乡政府所在地，距松溪县城十四公里，属老区基点村。村中的松溪花桥是一座清代石拱廊屋桥，已列为县级文物保护单位。[1]

地名由来[edit]

清顺治六年，村里建起一座造型讲究的厝桥，村名与乡名都由它而来。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，此处设有第二区署，区署驻在花桥，同时还有花桥乡的建制。1958年成立花桥大队，1984年政社分开后，大队改称村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

松溪花桥位于村头，旧时是通往县城的老路上的桥，两墩三孔，石拱廊屋，长36米、宽5.6米。它被定为县级文物保护单位，保护范围向四周各延伸10米。[1][4]
